We were so happy we went with No Macarena. Working with Kim via email leading up to the wedding was a breeze, even though we were planning our wedding in PA from CA.

Evan was our DJ for our reception. He was great to work with and very professional. My husband and I met as radio DJs in college, and therefore had an insanely detailed list of must play songs, requests, and no plays. He was very cool about going over our requests and suggestions the week before, and was able to play a lot of what we asked for. He did a good job organizing the wedding party line up to go into the reception, and played the songs we wanted for the wedding party entrance and our entrance. I was thrilled that everyone’s names were pronounced well. He made sure that we did the father/daughter and mother/son dances, and played the songs we wanted for the cake cutting and last dances.

As promised, he stayed off the mic, and only used it to announce things which we had talked about. He did a great job setting up the second sound system for the ceremony outdoors. We are so glad because our guests could hear the ceremony and vows, which made a huge difference.

The level of music was perfect during dinner, and during dancing it was loud enough for people dancing, and not too loud for people talking in the back. He was able to fit in a lot of what we wanted to hear and honored our no play list, which was awesome and the reason why we wanted to work with No Macarena.
